I think a mix between capitalism and socialism could work.

None of these. I think the government should have nothing to do with hard earned money. People work their asses off just to have a percentage of that go to the government. It's bullshit. I think there should be a strive in America to work hard and get rewarded, not work hard, get rewarded and see a percentage of that go away.

That's pure capitalism.

But what about public schooling, public roads, public parks, etc. Where is the money supposed to come from for those?

Volunteer? People still have good in them. Government doesn't do anything except approve. Working people are the ones who build roads etc. I just think it's ridiculous how the government takes so much money from hard working people while they sit up in their mansions.

Sorry, but founding an economic system on the principle that people are inherently good will cause it to fail miserably. Communism is the same way; it's founded on the principle that people won't take advantage of their situation.

I agree, it's part of human nature to take advantage of anything possible

Yeah I thought about that, maybe just a decrease in taxes? Communism should be revised where you're put in one of the three social economic classes and paid a range of a certain amount from each class.
