Seeing as though this was meant to be more of a 'talking about events that are going on with Democrats" type thread, I didn't want to change topic. Millz went ahead and made a universal thread in here so political debates can go there

Will gun control ever be effective in the US? It seems like some new tragedy happens every other year, yet no course of action is ever taken to minimize the chances of assaults on civilians like this from happening.

Because the 'Publicans are so fond of the NRA and doing anything to oppose Obama, probably not. Well, at least nothing huge. I'd still like to see many of loopholes and such closed though so less criminals and mentally ill can get their hands on guns.

It's whatever though. I love how even when majority of the US is behind Obama on things like gun control and gay rights, they still oppose it. They're just shooting themselves in the leg for the 2016 elections when all this will be brought up. Hillary Clinton is easily going to win then. The 'Publicans will again have a chance at winning again when they stop with all their extreme views and get behind the American people instead of just opposing every word Obama breathes for the sake of it.

I'm convinced that if North Korea went to war with the US, Fox News would be on Kim Jong Un's side :ha!:
