Post: Any lifters? Need help!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Let's start out a little bit about me, I'm 20 years old, have ALWAYS been a scrawny kid, I only weigh about 120 right now. I'm 5"8'ish

I'm enlisting in the Marine Corps and would love to bulk up before I ship out, the minimum weight requirement is 125 lbs for my height, but I would really like to be somewhat buff before I leave.

Problem I have is I lose interest in working out in my own home, since there's no gym around here that's all I have. Any advice on motivation? And also, how often should I work out, I was thinking every other day, and once a week with my recruiter which is the ultimate work out. ALSO, what kind of supplements? I have Whey Protein right now, tastes like ass and hard to choke down but if it really does work then I wouldn't have a problem.

And Squat your own body weight.

Btw I was in the army for 5 days a week ago just to see what it was and we did tons of push ups and ran a lot...

So it's almost before I say our conditioning is more important than muscle mass.

So if I was you I would Do: Some sets of Squat, Pulls ups. Then Chin Ups, then push ups, then dips, and then abs. And remember to give your muscle 48 hours of rest before hitting them again...

That is what I would do if I had no gym... Smile

Also if you loose motivation fast make your own Workout program... remember hitting the big muscles first.
It will make it more funny. Smile

Btw I am also like you I am training myself up to next year where I join the military. So we have some things in common too. Happy
