I was a devout Christian for a while, and moved on to Atheism during the beginning of High School. By taking advanced science classes, I understand more about the world than I ever have before. Science is based off of pure facts, and no beliefs really. Religion is based off belief, superstition, fear, etc. For example, if you dont praise god you will go to hell. What kind of loving, great god is that? And if he is so great, why did he make smallpox, and the black plague? Oh wait, science developed cures for that! Science has proved many things in the past, and continues to stop on religion's "facts", like how the world is flat, that all planets revolve around the Earth, etc. And yes, in the middle ages when Christianity dominated life that is what they believed. And science ultimately proved them horribly wrong. If they are wrong about all these things, how can we be sure they are right about what they preach about?

Atheism is bad. I believe in god because of my religion I guess all you athiests will find out why it is bad to be one and why you should believe in god on Judgement day.

Oh and god made all those things because lif is a test. There is no point in explaing it because you'll just come up with all scientific reasons and stuff. Believe what you all will but you'll find out on jugdement day.

Wow I hope you are being sarcastic there. If not, do you have any idea how stupid that made you look?

It's pretty obvious to this date that there is no god and I find it hard to take someone who actually think's that the invisible man in the sky serious.

Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking evil snake to eat a
magic apple from a magical tree...

Ermm no I wasn't being sarcastic.

You actually look stupid yourself for commenting on my own beliefs in which you know nothing about. You don't believe about god but I do. I know there is one. People nowadays think everything is related to science, well they are wrong. EVERYTHING is god's doing.

You can go believe what you want,I don't care. Inevetibally you will face the ultimate punsihment for believing like that so carry on believing. :p

Technically, I'm a christian, but the more science classes I take, the less and less I believe in god. I'm not really sure.

I don't know if I'm considered athiest or not. I've tried a lot of religions, Christianity, Catholic, Presbyterian, studied Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism a lot, but never actually wen't to one of their places of worship. I don't believe in a god but I don't believe in nothing above humans as far as intelligence and power. The universe is to vast. Is there a being who could crush all of us with a whim? Maybe. Is he named God? No. Do I believe in some paradise after death? No, I believe it ends with the ground. I would say seventh grade is when I began to question Christianity, as it is what I was raised on. If I had to choose I would choose Buddhism though but for now I'm agnostic or atheist( if that is what some people consider those who don't believe in "God")
