(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well we have Science vs. God, which is already a very controversial topic, and I might as well add this to the mix for those who enjoy politics. I'd prefer to have one thread where we can debate. I'll open up a poll while I'm at it. I'll tailor this thread to Conservative vs. Liberal vs. Libertarian vs. Other, so that I can open up the thread to a majority of nations instead of focusing on just one.

Don't get too heated, and please follow the rules. Winky Winky

They're only gaining popularity due to that single issue, and they're clearly willing to ride off the back of it.

I read the first line of that PDF and couldn't go any further: "Open door immigration is crippling local services in the UK."

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Today Will Be Different
I’m not here to discuss my political affiliation, but I will say I’m a mix of conservatism and libertarianism. But onto what I want to talk about, the top 1% and how they’re so rich.

Obviously the left wing always talks about the top 1%. Now surely people already know who Mark Zuckerberg is, the co-founder/co-creator of Facebook. The guy who won’t have to pay taxes for the rest of his life, yeah that guy. Of course many other members of the top 1% have done this including Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett and many other billionaires.

All those people I mentioned at one point in time worked at, owned, created or founded their company. Their company blazed a new trail, picking up followers and buyers by the millions. And at one point in time their company was a private company. Before I continue this recently happened last year with Facebook. And these private companies then convert to public companies by having an IPO or initial public offering, and with the IPO executives/founders get special stock options. Since Facebook had their IPO in May 2012, Mark Zuckerberg got some phenomenal stock options. Instead of buying shares of Facebook at normal trading rates he got to buy 60 million shares for only $0.06 a share. Now of course you may have seen the news where Zuckerberg had to pay federal and state income taxes on the $2.3 billion he amassed from his shares, but that’s barely a dent in the wallet for him.

This works because they all buy assets that rise in value, but don’t produce cash. And of course the really rich benefit from this because of unrealized appreciation which doesn’t go down on tax forms. Now when the rich want to consume or buy things, they borrow money since loans are not taxable. Now if they want to cash out their unimaginable wealth they simply have to die. This benefits heirs greatly as well because they can sell of the assets and pay off debts tax free.

Some may view this as a form of a tax loophole, however it really isn’t. It’s just a strategy that only the top 1% thought of. It’s also 100% legal so there are no laws being broken, and there is no money to be claimed since every dollar you spend is borrowed money. However I will say this, the actions the top 1% take to insure their wealth is cheap and immoral, but what do you expect in a society where no one has any morals.

Like I mentioned earlier on in my post I just wanted to cover base on what makes people super rich, and how they work their way up into the top 1%. Now this isn’t something that only CEOs and Founders of companies do because of their stock options, people who already are rich and buy enough shares for a fair amount can join the exclusive 1% doing exactly what those before them have done. And this is a main reason why the government wants to have massive business regulation which would only affect private businesses and not public businesses thus screwing the economy up even more.

I am 16 and honestly don't take any care in politics (which I should as it's my future) but either way we're going to be non-literally butt fucked by the civilized dictators we follow. Every 4 years they have such great plans which 85% of the time never happen.

If there is anything I've learned, no one has power, unless they have money.

This primarily happens because people constantly vote in the same parties that betrayed their trust only years earlier. The only solution is to stop voting for the lesser of two evils and stop therefore voting for evils altogether.
