Kareem is kinda like the Brett Favre of the NBA. He only scored so many because he played forever. You wouldn't call Favre the best QB even though he he has the most TDs and yards. LeBron is a 28/7/7 player and is still improving and getting pretty much better stats with 2 less minutes a game. How is Kareem the best when Bill Russel is a better center and Magic is a better Laker?

1. Jordan (for now)
2. LeBron (will be GOAT at end of career)
3. Magic Johnson
4. Bill Russel
5. Oscar Robertson
6. Kareem
7. Wilt
8. Kobe
9. Jerry West
10. Larry Bird

that's my top 10. 11. is Shaq

Agreed. People don't realize how amazing he was and how much tougher it is to get many of these accolades as a CENTER.

6× NBA champion (1971, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987–198Cool Man (aka Tustin)
2× NBA Finals MVP (1971, 1985)
6× NBA Most Valuable Player (1971–1972, 1974, 1976–1977, 1980)
19× NBA All-Star (1970–1977, 1979–1989)

Kareem, 1971: 27-19-3, 61% FG, Finals MVP
Kareem, 1985: 26-9-5, 61% FG, Finals MVP

Points 38,387 (24.6 ppg)
Rebounds 17,440 (11.2 rpg)
Blocks 3,189 (2.5 bpg)

Kareem played for 20 seasons, and was an All-Star for 19 of them.

In the paraphrased words of Michael Wilbon, people forget the greats so fast. Much like how people forget Kobe is now 34 and still keeping up with these young people, and that he was a MONSTER in the 2000s.

That ape even had the audacity to bitch about the refs after the game. Motherfucker, if it wasn't for the refs last year, Boston woulda been world champs.

Anyways, let's congratulate this Eastern Allstar team on barely beating crap teams and only beating 8 teams over .500 during this streak. Here's a toast to the bandwagonners that were salty as fuck last night (inb4 all Heat "fans" say they've liked Heat since Wade which is also bandwagon or some other excuse).

mad bro? I've been a fan of the heat since tim hardaway... Smile
