I always think the same thing. The thing is though, so many people believe that criminals can reform and fit into society again. Don't get me wrong, that can be the case sometimes, but the majority of the time, we are spending tax dollars to keep these guys locked up with 3 hots and a cot. Sort of sad when you think about it.

I Have Just Spoken With My Father (I'm 15) He Is A Smart Man , He Said And I Quote "I Believe that would be going against out constitution as it is cruel and unusual punishment." I Believe He Is Right But If You Have Killed Several People Or Have Raped A Child I Dont Believe That This Punishment Is To Cruel.

Testing on them would be cruel and unusual, thus breaking the 8th amendment.

Then you are saying that cruel is circumstantial. Plus that still doesn't take about from the unusual bit.

That just reminded me of "The Water Boy." LOL!

However, I think the only reason they do that is because it's not humane. It kinda brings us to the same question. Why do we sanitize the lethal injection needle? It makes no sense at all.

So many things wrong.

1) You'd be giving the power to kill or essentially torture others to the government to a new extent. I think prison is enough on that front.
2) But why is that important? Because of the potential for innocent men and women getting convicted, intentional on the side of the government or not. So, as I said, prison is enough. In that case, at least you can let them back out at some point.
3) As many philosophers have said much better than I will, it's better to let a hundred guilty persons go free than to wrongly convict one innocent. This is most true for things like the death penalty.
4) A less important issue, but an issue nonetheless is that you're conflating paedophilia with child abuse. The two are not the same -- one is an attraction, the other is essentially rape or something along those lines.

If a human has done the insane, he shouldn't be tested on. All humans are equal whether if they are retarded or have personal issues. It's wrong morally to test on a human being except if he's agreed to do so.
