(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,

I heard something on the radio about this guy that took his girl out for a first date the other night and when they got there, he told his girl he had a groupon and so she was limited to some things on the menu. She was debating of rather she should go on another date with him or not.

So people started to call the radio station and some said yes she should because there's nothing wrong with saving money and a lot of people actually said this one.

Some people said no she shouldn't because if he can't show her that he appreciates her by spending a little extra money on her, then he doesn't deserve her because that just means he's cheap.

So what do you all think? Would you use a Groupon and tell your GF that she could only select certain items on the menu? I wouldn't.

FAQ: What is a groupon?

A groupon is kinda like a coupon, but you go with someone and the restraunt gives you a different menue when you present it to them and your limited to like an antray, drink, and desert and it has to be certain things and you only pay $4-$6.

Lol unless you are super desperate in terms of money, then you shouldn't use coupons on the first date. After you are in the relationship stage, it becomes acceptable.

In the harsh economic times we live in today I don't see anything wrong with this, in fairness to the guy at least he didn't bring her to Mcdonalds.

I don't see a problem with it. To be honest the girl should be thankful that she's being treated I don't think a woman would ever consider taking a man out for dinner and paying for it all.

Personally It would depend on who I was taking if I genuinely loved the girl I wouldn't mind treating her though from an alternative perspective if the girl genuinely loved the guy she should be happy with anything and not care if she cares that much about a cupon and a meal she's not worth keeping.

Also it's 1:18am and I can't be fucked to punctuate this properly, goodnight for now NGU.

I would be kinda ticked if he did it on the first date... But I'd get over it... anything to save a buck, right?

lol! The DJ actually said something like that at the end of the show. He was making fun of the girls date and was like "Ok honey, here's what you can pick out from the dollar menu at McDonald's" :ha!:

Is she didn't like the options he gave her for a FREE meal, she could have bought her own.

Why should a girl care if you dont take them out for a nice meal? She should be going there for you.

I see what you mean. Winky Winky There was one girl that called and said she had something similar happen to her. They went to see a movie and the guy used a free movie pass and made her pay for her ticket. lol
