Who ever told you that you didnt have to pay lied. :/ Amazon will ship the stuff to you and their not going to ship it if you haven't payed. xD

What he means is does he have to pay at the moment... And the answer is no; not for pre-orders. Amazon normally for all kind of items does not charge until the shipping process begins. This goes for pre-orders.

Although in some cases Amazon does do a temporary charge and then release it later, until the shipping process starts. But my card was never charge when I pre-ordered mine.

Ok we'll I called Amazon. There will be no charge until the item ships. However. Upon selecting 'checkout' it will check your fund availability and if you have that amount in there, or have an overdraft allowance in your account, it will approve.
