Post: Help Please

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, well a short story to get you understanding where I'm coming from.

I've been recently talking to my ex (First love, she and I are first loves), anyways she just broke up with her bf of 3 years to try and get back with me. I buried the feelings I had for her a while back, but here recently they've came back up. Well, we continue to talk and she's depressed some over her recent breakup. (so all she wants is comfort right? ). Ok, so last night I didn't feel like going to see her; I was pissed off due to her not replying to me (she uses the excuse "I don't have wifi atm" ect), and I didn't feel like getting out at 12AM-2AM. Anyways, she starts crying and a guy named John (her friend, and my friend) and I have a decent chat on facebook about her (he was beside her). Finally, around the end of our chat he starts threatening me saying "I'm going to kick your ass when I see you", all because I didn't come down there to see her...

Yeah, well if you read that you see what I'm asking help for.

I'm 18 (an adult)
John is 14 (a minor)

If I fight a minor I will get arrested. Although, I did contact the police to see what could be done in this situation (I'm not a rat/nark/snitch or anything, I only talked to them to get some facts on what I can do), well they told me to avoid him, if he threatens me call them and file a report.
Also, if he hits me I can call self defense and lay his ass out. Happy

I'm not a fighter, I don't like to fight. I guess you could call me a wuss in fighting scenarios, because I feel like fighting doesn't solve anything. Anyways, what I'm asking is what should I do?
Go hangout with her (he lives down the road from where we hangout [also lives close to me] also risk going to jail by fighting)
Not talk to her anymore (lose a possible relationship)

I'm really stuck on this guys, I don't know what to do in this situation. Please refrain from trolling, I'm only wanting serious comments.

Thanks

EDIT: I'm going to stay away from him and her, and if he happens to start anything I'll just ignore him (else if he hits me, I'll lay his ass out), anyways thanks for the people that were seriously helping me decide what to do.

Do what the police have advised. If you do come into contact with him and it starts to get physical, you have to remember that it's only classed as self defense if it's deemed as 'reasonable force'.

When the cops pulled into my driveway my mom walked out and talked to them aswell. I woke her up around 2AM, to tell her the cops are on their way. She told me I shouldn't contact them, but I can't do anything to a minor. Anyways, here's a few pics I'm the black, he's the red.

If you are wondering why some say "This is John", it's because he let her on his fb (phone at the time) to talk to me.

So basically, your 14 year old friend told u he'll beat u because u did not want to go out see her at 12am in the night? What the actual fuck lol. Whats his business? If he acts like that, he was never your friend. Also no offense but forget about her too. Seems like they only want to fuck you off, like they'd talked with each other and honestly i dont think she loves you, or better said ever loved u. She just plays with your mind.
As for him, fuck him. Dont try to punch him tho, wait for him to start and then u can finish him off, this way u wont have trouble with police.
14 year old guy threatening a 18 year old... :dumb: lol.

Yeah, I don't know if I actually can leave her (I know I literally can, but I don't know if I want to or not (if you know what I mean))
I've been in the court system in the past due to my behavior and stuff, and I'm paranoid that I'm going to get back into it, and this time would be worst since I'm 18 now. :(
She does mind fuck me some haha. Thanks for a serious reply. Also, look at the images I posted in a quote. I'm the black, he's the red.

He's clearly threaten you. You said that the police advised you to contact them if he did threaten you. It is now completely up to you, if you wish to take matters up with the police further

Lol kids! do what they do in the movies, put your hand on his head and let the little bitch swing!

Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about it.. most people are keyboard warriors, he'll eventually see you and be like "oh my god, I'm so sorry, I was pissed with someone so I took it out on you" Kind of pathetic really, I wouldn't of called the police though that early into it because nothing substantial had taken place yet.

Seriously though, being friends with younger kids is cool but how old is the girl if you don't mind me asking? Why the hell has she got a 14 year old boy in her house, baffles my head. I wouldn't lose the relationship though over it, speak to her when the little shit isn't around and see what she wants to do.

I'm not a fighter either no but if it's self defence I would just lay a shit on his face. I can't say I'm good for relationship advice though I haven't had a sturdy relationship in years, but if you want to pursue one with her and she's game then go for it, say goodbye to John and get on with your lives.

Haha yeah, he does act hard in life. She's 16 (I know  ), and they don't hangout at her house. It's at a public park (small park, not much activity). She only hangs out with him when she's with her nephew (her nephew is good friends with him). I only called the cops to ask them some questions such as, what should I do, can I fight him ect. Just some need to know answers just in case something did happen.

The cops told me if it happens again then to contact them again. They said if they did a report on it, the court wouldn't do much because it's a threat over facebook. On the other hand, if it was in person (verbal), I could defiantly have him arrested.

Which is fair enough, ahh makes a bit more sense I thought she was 18 and hand some 14 year old kid in her house was like da fuq? Seriously though if you want it to stop and he keeps threatening you then just ring them up again I'm sure they'll sort it out, no matter how you look at it, it is a form of bullying which is being cracked down upon a lot recently.

Keep a cool head, sort it out then move on with your life with her in it if she wants to be. Good luck! Smile

Another picture I didn't put in up was him saying if I call the cops on him for fighting me, he'll get some of his friends to jump me. Gasphgodwhy: This kind of stuff honestly makes me want to move somewhere else. Although you can't run away from problems. I even asked him if he wanted to put it behind us, and he replied with something similar to "Hell no, I'm pissed off and we are going to fight". That's not his exact words, but similar.
