Although you can't run away from problems. I even asked him if he wanted to put it behind us, and he replied with something similar to "Hell no, I'm pissed off and we are going to fight". That's not his exact words, but similar.

Are u sure hes even 14? By the way he talks... I would say hes at least 10. Anyway if i'd be u i'd ignore both, and move on. They dont deserve to waste your time. At least him, not sure about her but think so too.

Ok, well a short story to get you understanding where I'm coming from.

I've been recently talking to my ex (First love, she and I are first loves), anyways she just broke up with her bf of 3 years to try and get back with me. I buried the feelings I had for her a while back, but here recently they've came back up. Well, we continue to talk and she's depressed some over her recent breakup. (so all she wants is comfort right? ). Ok, so last night I didn't feel like going to see her; I was pissed off due to her not replying to me (she uses the excuse "I don't have wifi atm" ect), and I didn't feel like getting out at 12AM-2AM. Anyways, she starts crying and a guy named John (her friend, and my friend) and I have a decent chat on facebook about her (he was beside her). Finally, around the end of our chat he starts threatening me saying "I'm going to kick your ass when I see you", all because I didn't come down there to see her...

Yeah, well if you read that you see what I'm asking help for.

I'm 18 (an adult)
John is 14 (a minor)

If I fight a minor I will get arrested. Although, I did contact the police to see what could be done in this situation (I'm not a rat/nark/snitch or anything, I only talked to them to get some facts on what I can do), well they told me to avoid him, if he threatens me call them and file a report.
Also, if he hits me I can call self defense and lay his ass out.

I'm not a fighter, I don't like to fight. I guess you could call me a wuss in fighting scenarios, because I feel like fighting doesn't solve anything. Anyways, what I'm asking is what should I do?
Go hangout with her (he lives down the road from where we hangout [also lives close to me] also risk going to jail by fighting)
Not talk to her anymore (lose a possible relationship)

I'm really stuck on this guys, I don't know what to do in this situation. Please refrain from trolling, I'm only wanting serious comments.
