For MMORPG's, at higher levels you're geared towards teaming up with some buddies and/or strangers to complete quests, dungeons, and raids (such as World of Warcraft). As for FPS, this is completely optional if you're not playing competitively and you can play alone for as long as you'd like without running into problems, although playing with friends is enjoyable.

Groups all the way. Most games eventually bore me without groups or people to talk to at least.

In groups of people for sure. That is pretty much the only reason I play video games. Well besides GTA.

I've always been independent, no matter what I've done everything on my own so from this i like to be a single player gamer.. even online, i rarely play with groups, i much prefer playing on my own in a team. Its just because im independent. Plus if i were to game in a group they'd have to take it seriously, want to win.. i love the fun side of gaming with my mates but there's no point playing if you aint going for the win

So Solo gamer for me

I like to be able to talk to somebody while I play.

Groups, I need to be able to communicate and be able to blame someone when something goes wrong (even if it was my fault.)

I mostly play on solo as that is what I prefer. However, if someone wants a game then I'm always up for it!

bf3 is boring as fuccckkkk without a group. literally can't play more than one game.

cod on the other hand i can happily play solo (90% SnD, 10% HQ). although my w/l is 0.6 because of this

I always like to play in groups, but some days I just feel like gaming alone. I generally play Borderlands 2 with a group of friends on xbox. Used to play WoW with my partner, but couldn't really get to the higher levels, didn't have enough time since I was in school then, but all in all I did enjoy it
