(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Have you ever thought to yourself how precious life is? I know I haven't until earlier.
Why you ask? Well, some of you know I'm a firefighter and I see some bad stuff.
I worked a call earlier and it came in as 79 y/o male unresponsive not breathing. The medunit (ambulance) was coming from the city (atleast 15 min drive). We get on scene and we work on him for atleast 45 mins. He didn't come back, he was gone.

I know you are probably wondering why does this matter? Well, I've worked alot of calls where some bad stuff has happened such as this, but this one touched my heart. To hear the mans wife say "no, no, don't tell me that", and to see her about collapse it truly heart breaking. To hear that her husband had passed away right there.

I'm not asking for rep, sympathy, or anything else.
I'm asking that you think about how life is, and what it would do to you or your family if someone close or even you passed away at this moment.

Please don't troll this thread.

In Flames Much?
Moments like this only take an instant to happen
Moments like this remove a life time
Moments like this remove you from this earth
Moments like this fails to remove your love

Watching somebody very existence disappear from view , has a chilling effect allowing you to question your own existence. The reality that your existence can be removed without much effort scares you.
Change is the hardest part of this over death.

I had something like this happen to me, it broke my heart.
Makes all moments with somebody precious.

79 years old is a full life though, it's sad but I know people who have died at the ages of 16-20 which is a lot worse.

In a way, I can't cry anymore about death. I understand everyone as a expiration date, but until then I try my best to stay happy every day. That's why I really am inspired by Wiz Khalifa, not because he's a major pot head, but the way he views life.

life goes on after the death of those close to you. anyhow 79 years is a nice long life - as ronald says, many aren't fortunate enough to have this

The truth is everyman dies, but not everyman lives. Live every moment like death is a day away. That doesn't mean go crazy and kill yourself. What I am saying is to not do decisions you will regret on your death bed. If there is that girl you like but your too scared to ask her out, do it.

I don't believe in death. How can a spirit die? The only thing that rots is the vessels we are imprisoned in. Other then that life goes on after death, and for every soul that is set free a new one is imprisoned. Life is a test. Will you pass it, or will you fail? No one knows that answer because they haven't lived to tell.

Me being 14, is a very important time in my life. This is the where i got to predict my future; what i want to do for living, where i want to live, if i want kids or not, etc. Most kids nowadays are distracted by many things such as drugs and other distractions. They dont have the time to think of life and then they do drugs. If they decided to take the time to think "gee, why am i doing this?" they could be doing something more productive. My point is, people have to live life while it lasts. Not that YOLO crap where you go jumping roof tops or something, i mean to do something WORTH living. Life is a PRIVILLAGE, and an OPPORTUNITY. If you dont do something worth living, your opportunity will come to an end. Yeah i know im only 14 blah blah blahhh, but i try living my life as someone should. Im going to high school, so im studying a lot, doing physical activities to keep me in good shape so im nice and healthy, im looking for a career to do (thinking of MLB baseball). So i hope people live life at its fullest and dont waste their opportunity that other people and DIE. People die everyday. If you dont want to die, do something worth living.
