(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Have you ever thought to yourself how precious life is? I know I haven't until earlier.
Why you ask? Well, some of you know I'm a firefighter and I see some bad stuff.
I worked a call earlier and it came in as 79 y/o male unresponsive not breathing. The medunit (ambulance) was coming from the city (atleast 15 min drive). We get on scene and we work on him for atleast 45 mins. He didn't come back, he was gone.

I know you are probably wondering why does this matter? Well, I've worked alot of calls where some bad stuff has happened such as this, but this one touched my heart. To hear the mans wife say "no, no, don't tell me that", and to see her about collapse it truly heart breaking. To hear that her husband had passed away right there.

I'm not asking for rep, sympathy, or anything else.
I'm asking that you think about how life is, and what it would do to you or your family if someone close or even you passed away at this moment.

Please don't troll this thread.

This is my personal view on death:
I see death as a gateway to happiness, a simple "end" to this sorrow, hatred, despair, and agony we have to undergo called "life". I see death as a wonderful, beautiful thing.
As for seeing people die in front of you, it's traumatizing, yes, I've been there and saw that.
I saw a guy blow his brains out, a guy stab himself to death, a guy slit his throat, and a girl attempt to hang herself (all in reality, not in videos). I can definitely say it's a traumatizing thing to have to undergo, and it will definitely mess with your mind for the rest of your life.

Where THE FUCK do you live.

I have never had a family member die (besides great grandparents). Life is how you make it. I am happy with my life right now, but I would not not be satisfied if it ended right now.
