I think you will have to come into some sort of an agreement with the buyer or buy him a new Ps3. Unfortunately, unless you can fix it yourself or watch YouTube tuts, it's the best way to go.

Yeah basically, but it was working for 2 years and I knew it was working just when I'm about to sell it something on the motherboard broke. Never had such bad luck ever in my life.

You broke the first rule of Ebay, selling something you don't have. Because you put up a listing for something you currently did not have, you are falsely advertising an item. That item is, once he buys it, is an item that you must provide according to detail. If you stated working, used PS3; you must provide him/her with one unless you come to an agreement to refund their money 100%.

You should have worked on fixing it first before you put it up. Once up, you should have then taken the item, packaged it and everything and awaiting a sale. Once the sale came, you then just added the label and sold.

You either need to come up with the money and return it, fix your PS3, or face a full refund (meaning negative balance on your PayPal) plus the chance that your Ebay account gets a strike against it.

Talk to the buyer first, tell them that the power supply connector for the PS3 went out unexpectedly and that there is going to be a delay; you are going to order a new part and replace it. Or, you could offer to send as is, and refund a certain percentage to cover the cost of a new connector + labor. (Say if you sold for 150, offer to refund 30$).

Yeah I agree with this thanks for the help. Just awkward an item is working the whole time just when your about to sell it the next day its suddenly breaks lol I can't believe this actually happened.

It happens, that's why when I sell something that is electronic; I test it first and write out the details. I then put it aside and either package it or secure it so I can't do anything to it. When it is bought; I then just seal it up and send.
