(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So it all started out waking up at 6:00 AM CT and taking a shower like every morning.
Got into my car, drove to school arrived at 7:20 AM CT. Parked in the student parking lot.
Lit up my daily cigarette, and walked over to some friends, I had a friend who was in pain and asked for medicine.
I'm prescribed to 500mg Hydrocodone, I gave him 5 for the week. Not realizing the camera was pointed on me and him.

I walk into school, my principles at the front door and asked me, "So Mr. Kenny, what were you doing in the student parking lot?" My reply "Talking to friends?" Him "You know we have cameras that view in 1080p, rotate 360 degree's and are in color right?" Me "Sure, whatever, and walked to homeroom."

Teachers received an email about me and my friend with a possible suspension if caught smoking in the parking lot, once they catch me smoking again they will bring up the pills. I have been warned by the vice principles son that the cops will be coming tomorrow and drug testing me I suppose, and they will review the tapes.

Possible charges by Illinois state law:

Distribution of illegal narcotics - First offense: up to 1-year jail term, up to a $1,000 fine

Possession of illegal drugs within 1,500 feet of a school or a licensed day care center - Mandatory 2-year jail sentence running consecutively to the jail term imposed for violating other drug possession laws.

Sale of illegal drugs within 1,500 feet of a school, a licensed day care center, or a public housing project - Mandatory 3-year jail term running consecutively to any jail term imposed for violating the underlying drug sale crime

Minor to sell illegal drugs in violation of the laws prohibiting illegal drug sales - Mandatory 3-year jail term running consecutively to the underlying drug sale crime

See you all in about 10 years. Gaspkay:

You are prescribed the medication. No longer possession charge. Not an illegal narcotic, that is gone. If you are under 18, then yes you can get in trouble but not jail time. You didn't sell your friends anything, you simply gave him some drugs. That is illegal but even then, who is to say what you handed him was actually the drug. You never sold, so you can't get in trouble.

The only thing you can get in trouble here for is smoking on school grounds and giving medication to a minor. Drug testing won't come up with much as the person can claim to take other medication at home. Really, the school has nothing.

Unless they have the recording of you pulling out the bottle, pulling out medication, and handing over the medication for them to consume; then you have somewhat of an issue. Smoking, you have a little bit of an issue there. As long as cash did not exchange hands; then you are good.

Just be sure to bring your script, since you are going to school; I know here in California, you are supposed to give them your medication for them to hand out to you.

Also, for stuff like this; you would at most get probation. Courts don't care for this shit all too much.

Good luck MLB. In my opinion if you tell the court the truth about the situation you will get some community service or maybe a fine. Especially sense you are still a minor... Im guessing.
