You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright so I am in Spanish 1 (My first year in Spanish) and we have some "Cultural Day" every two weeks. Well that week is coming up and I, and two other people got the job of making 1 type of food for the whole class. I'm not really good at cooking so I told my parents If i give them a recipe will they make it, and they agreed. So if you guys know some good Spanish food tell me, also If you have a recipe tell me that too. :p

Ps. She said try to make it unique... so no Enchiladas / Taco's unless they are unique in some kind of way :p

Hmm... the only unique spanish food that I can think of would be churros, make sure you serve it with the traditional spanish hot chocolate too. And since this is the first spanish class you've taken I sure the teacher will shit bricks, and who knows you might get some extra credit. :p

Huh... I never thought about that one. Sounds great! Would the hot chocolate just be like american hot chocolate? This is also going to work out really well because I have it first period so I can just make it before I leave. Enzo

The hot chocolate is thicker than what we have in America. But I did a quick google search and found a decent recipe which includes the hot chocolate.

The only difference would be the cornstarch I suppose, which would be used to thicken the chocolate. Regardless as long as you follow the recipe, well parents do you'll have the best food there. I'm sure people in your class are thinking burritos and tacos still lol.

I would say tamales, posole or menudo, or chili verde are some good mexican food. Also homemade horchata is pretty easy to make but its a drink though.
