But as im looking to also update my console and maybe get xbox one or ps4 I would need one that is compatible for all. Do you have any recommendation on which is the best value for money and quality.

Looking to pay around £30 - £40 nothing to pricey.

Was Looking at Tritton Gaming Headsets? Whats your opinion?

Tritton and Astro headsets are the best in my opinion.

In that price range you won't get Astro's or Tritions. And I'm not sure if there are any headsets out for the next-gen yet. I did see that you will be able to buy an adapter instead of new headset.

The new tritans look really nice, and they also sound great! :p

don't buy a headset for 30 - 40 bucks. save your doe and buy a headset worth your while, i use astro 40's + mixamp. worth the 250 bucks i spent on it, its durable and amazing quality.

Only own a pair of Tritton's 720s.
They are okay but sound quality wise it I would say average. Nothing stand out it pretty good for music/games. It pretty good for console gaming, I think my model is 5.1.
Overall the weak point for me has been the mic it cuts in and out sometimes.
Build quality not had any troubles some people have done only had the wired version so far.

I own a pair of Tritton AX180s! :y: Anyway, they can be used universally for all Current-Gen Consoles and they're very cheap (I got mine for £40), however I'm not sure if they would work on the PS4/XB1 since it's been confirmed that not all Headsets do.
