Hi, I don't like you
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Looks more and more like London will end up with a team in London sooner rather then later. NFL currently plays one game in London per year, but plans to have 2 next year and by 2012 up to 4 games. Also, it looks more like the NFL will have one team playing their every year to help build up a fan base for what would be an eventual move. So if you are a fan of American Football over in London pay attention to next years scheduling as your team could be one of the teams that plays next year. Two of the most likely teams to be moved would be Tampa Bay who played there today or Jacksonville as both teams have struggled to sell out their respective stadiums.

It is not right to do this. I am a Bengals season ticket holder and if they took one of my home games away from me I would be pissed! It's not like we get many to start with. I am sure that many other season tickets holders feel the same way as me. To me it's showing respect to the people that have been here through tough times, and as a Bengals fan I have been through my fair share.

I agree with you mate. The thing is the NFL is a business and cares more about making money then they do the customer spending it. Nothing you can really do about. Stop buying season tickets, I can't say for sure about the Bengals but I know for a fact the Eagles got a huge waiting line for season tickets so if you stop buying them they will easily replace you.

Believe it or not the Bengals have not sold out all of their games yet this year. This is one of the reasons I am concerned that it will happen to us. I can understand they are out to make money, but it should not be done at the expense of existing fans. I would be ok with it if they had a system setup so that teams did not lose a home game. Cheers

I think one of the reasons they want to put a team in London is so they won't be taking home games away from teams. As the only games that would be played over there would be the ones that the London team would be hosting. I don't think you have much worry about as I don't think Cincinnati will be losing the Bengals anytime soon.

Florida has 3 teams in which at least 2 teams are not selling out (not sure about the dolphins), so both of them would be ahead of the list of teams to move along with possibly the Rams. If they do make the move to put a team in London, whoever doesn't move becomes the likely candidate to move to Los Angeles after that stadium is done being built.

There's no chance of a team in England there's is a tiny market for American Football here and seeing as it's basically rugby league but where; you throw the ball forwards and stop about every 10 seconds for a 5 minute advert break. Rugby is already catering for what would be a gap for American Football, trust me it will not happen.

I have to disagree, roughly 90,000 seats selling out in under 10 minutes doesn't sound like a tiny market to me.

Well obviously because it is a new experience for the people to see as it is rarely here, but if there was an NFL team here the attendance for matches would steadily decrease game after game. Not only because rugby is already catering for the possible gap but mainly because for some reason the players have to stop every 10 seconds for about a 5 minute advert break making an hour long match take about 4 hours to complete that's why you've got big fat ass people playing it (I don't even see American Football players as athletes but that's another matter).

And don't try and pretend that you what's popular here, what's not and what there is and isn't a market for because you are in fact American, so despite what you think you do not know what British people like so hush your mush.
