The main issues I see are price and cooling. Haswell CPUs get hot. And so do gtx cards so how they will stay cool will be interesting. Also price.will be since pisten's box will be $1000 and feature a lower end and apu it is a bad buy if you want to get into PC gaming but if steams lowest offering which will have a gtx.660 it will be a better choice by a long shot. If the high end gtx 780 model is south of $1500 it also can be a decent buy.

Not bad specs but pricing along with cooling has me worried. Curious to see how many are sold along with it impact. How long until other hardware makers jump on to this could shake up the console maker a bit. Something telling me it aimed mainly as PC players as of right now over a console hardware killer.

There will be others as the steam os will be sorta like a more closed android, but these steams Ines will be competitively priced as steam won't lose much chopping the prices as you buy the steam games so that is how they will make there $$$ I expect the lowest end gtx 660 model around $600
