Well there is nothing wrong with being infantry. The reason why I got an 03 contract in the USMC was because I actually wanted to be infantry. But I have to agree with you, don't do infantry because you want to say you're a grunt. Do it because you actually want to do it. Hell if I never grew up around guns I probably would end up being a pog and signing an entirely different MOS. :p
