(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello Guys,

Heres something i would to share with you all.

A brave little girl called Maya sadly past away on the 2nd August 2012 from meningococcal septicaemia. An event has been put on a race track in the UK, at a place called: Arena Essex, some of you may know Lakeside shopping center? Literally minutes from there.

A fund raising page has been set up here to raise money for this brave girl having her life taken from her at such a young age!! So far £12,000 has been raised, incredible! Heres the link to the fund raising page: You must login or register to view this content.

Now maybe some of you could donate a small amount, anything counts! A two day event is being held this weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The Reserve list (46 drivers) are racing on the saturday, two which will get into the Sunday. On the Sunday (The big one) 200+ drivers will turn up to race and raise money for this little girl and the research fund. Every single penny goes to her cause. I myself have already bought a hoodie of £40 and further more a £20 two day ticket. I will be purchasing more merchandise on the day but all of us are doing this to raise money for this little girl!

So maybe if you live in the UK and fancy a day out, come along and help raise money for this little girl, poster:

So, over 300 cars will be competing throughout the two days for this amazing event! Now what cars? Well the most famous cars in our sport, The GRANADA, it is the most popular car. Over 300 Granada's raced for this little girl, some of you may no nothing about our sport. But, here are a few of the 300 cars pre-pared for this weekend.

If I lived in England I'd definitely make it down! But the least I could do now is make a donation.

May I ask who she was to you?

Thanks guys, appreciate any donation made!

And to me, I never knew her or met her. I have purely made the thread to make people aware of the event and Maya sadly losing her life at only 1 years old. Maya was to do with Paul Whiteman's family and they have put this together for her, I am only trying to help make people aware.

It's still great that you're putting this much effort in for a girl you didn't know. It's truly sad though :(

Great thread to put up, if I can make it I'll definitely be coming down and pay my donations.

My nephew got meningitis when he was only 6 months old but he managed to get through it so I know how bad it is for a small child to get it.

What a weekend! Me and my uncle attended both days, with two massive crowds! Saturday being roughly 5 thousand people and the Sunday with near on if not over 12 thousand people!!!! I sure did put my money in the donation bucket and we all got some absolutely mind blowing racing! As of yet they are unsure how much money was raised but i will tell you when they say how much money was raised!

Anyone who attended either/both days will definitely say they were not disappointed in anyway the racing was second to none, top notch! You just could not fault it in anyway. We had waited 9 months for one weekend and it was 9 months worth waiting for! Even the rain did not spoil it in the slightest!!

I for one will remember that for years to come and never forget being part of such a superb weeekend!!

Here is a video of Saturdays meeting:

Here is a video of the destructive, non-stop crashing Sunday meeting:
