I have a hard time supporting the military when they get involved in something that is none of their business. First, I feel that way because it uses up the nation's money and resources. Second, I feel that it isn't good to involve yourself in someone else's affairs when you are obviously not wanted by that person (in this case, nation). As Sexy Solo said, I too support the troops. I've played Black Ops 2 and Battlefield 3, enjoyed my time on those games too. Played a bit of Tom Clancy, but does that mean I'd support the military? No, not by a long shot. I'm from Canada, so we're peacekeepers and try to not get involved in another nation's bloody warfare.
I would never join the military, especially after the things that have been unearthed in the media in the past few years. You may think that the military can protect you, but I know that as a woman I would just be viewed as a piece of meat if I were deployed overseas with a few guys that weren't right in the head. Not saying that they're all like that, I've had plenty of men from my family in the military, I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to take the chance. I suppose the main reason why I don't support the way North America uses their military is because of the lack of support for the crimes committed towards other soldiers and the way that they invade the other countries.
I have a lot of respect for the soldiers, but there's so many things that are wrong with the system. And to everyone here who has a family member in the military/navy, I have mad respect for you all and hope for the best for the people overseas.
Maybe in the Canadian army but in the US Military you wouldnt be treated just as a piece of meat, My view on women in the military is they shouldnt join period. It kinda pisses me you believe that shit. As Not all Military personal has PTSD.
