Let's just say my parents (mother and stepdad) have a bit of a drinking problem.

and no, neither of them abuse me or my siblings, they're just dumbasses. (mainly my mom.)


Anyways, my mom doesn't know her limits, on anything. My stepdad sometimes works nights, so from 10am to 11pm hes at work.

His license is currently suspended, and before you guess, no it wasnt anything serious, i forget the reason why though. So, my mom has to drive him to work everyday, and pick him up as well.

Well on these night shifts he has, she thinks its an all out ticket to buy a 5th of vodka and get hammered.

(she gets very fucking annoying may i add)

So when it was time to pick my step dad up from work, she left with my two younger siblings as usual.

I thought nothing of it, just another night of her stupidity.

When my step dad and her arrived they told me that my mom had totaled the car.

As soon as i heard that i knew damn well it was my moms fault, not the person who hit her.

and it was.


She wasn't hurt, and my siblings weren't either.



I'm glad to hear that, but im so annoyed and frustrated with my mom.

I've told her several times, if she doesn't stop this bullshit with her drinking it will get her into trouble.

She could've killed the other driver, or killed herself and the kids.



BUT GET THIS.

as soon as they're home, and they tell me, what does my step dad do?

he goes out, and buys some more booze.


By the way, he wasnt in the car when they crashed, he was still at work, they had to call my stepdads mom to ride them home.


but getting back to what i said, HE BOUGHT MORE BOOZE.

ARE YOU FUCKING DUMB?


So my question is, should i confront them about this?

I really can't keep my mouth shut anymore.


Also if they buy booze, should i immediately pour it out when i see it?

I know its a dumb thing to ask, but what would you do in this situation? How should i approach this?

and i somewhat agree, lmao, but my stepdads a black dude whose like 6 feet and he could beat my ass.

So i wouldn't do that, plus he'd call the cops. I called him a ****** once and he called the police on me.
