surely for most people it would just depend on their individual circumstances. If You've got a good job, loving family etc then you most likely wouldn't want 10 years of enjoyment only to suffer for 20 years afterwards because your life's already fine as it is. Whereas if your life's shit then you'll probably just take your chances and enjoy the 10 years while you can before you end up back where you started. Oh and as for old people say 65+, they may as well accept it since they'll probably end up dead shortly after the 10 years are over anyway.
