What do you want for Christmas?

I never really ask for anything, but this year I'm saving up for a new laptop for when I go to college.

For Christmas I really would like some money towards a Canon EOS 600D.

I study Creative Media Production in College, and it has a range of subjects that we have to study.
These are: Journalism, Cinematography, Radio, Photography and Photography Theory.

I have been going for roughly 30+ weeks now, out of a 45 week college-year. The course is 3 years, if I choose to stay on.
At first I enjoyed all of the subjects, I found them interesting and new. However, over time, I lost interest in everything except Photography. I sort of fell in love with it.

I do not own my own camera, I use the one College provides us.
We are not allowed to take it home, and that comes as a major disadvantage to me.
If I could get a camera, either for Christmas (as a present) or from the money I receive, it will be my best christmas to date.

I want it more than anything. Photography allows me to "be myself" instead of being how society expects me to be.
I enjoy admiring nature and the life that lives within it, but for some reason, that is considered (among many other words) Gay.

Anyway, enough with my rant. That's what I want for Christmas.
I also want my Family to become closer. Over the course of this year my family (like every family) have faced their difficulties and challenges. I wish 2014 is easier on them, they deserve it. Smile

Money is always nice. I like to think the same way. I don't usually ask for anything, ya know?

I love photography. Even though I don't take it seriously I used to be really interested in it and I had two Canon 30D's, which were hand-me-down's (in very good shape, might I say), and I've always preferred Canon over Nikon. However both have their pro's and con's.

I wasn't into photography until I used the new DSLR cameras we got in digital media and I like it but they are pretty expensive for something in don't know how much I'd actually use

Yeah,

I have hand-me-down's, so it's a lot different. I don't think I'd spend my own money to buy any new cameras.
