I got the first book from the library, finished it the same day. I went back to get the second book, and the librarian laughed cause he's like, damn did you already finish the first one that you got this morning. I said yeah, and wanted the second one, but it wasn't there. I torrented the second book, but I couldn't stand reading it on a computer screen. I just couldn't, and I could not wait for the book to return to the library(I had to wait 5 days). I automatically went to Barnes&Nobles and bought myself the trilogy for $40, and I can say, money well spent.

I'd say it can compete with the Harry Potter series in my opinion.

Anyone have any recommendations for another series? I'm looking for books like Hunger Games and Harry Potter, where there's a lot of good action, suspense, build-up, and movies are coming out, cause you know that when a movie is released for a book, that book must be good.

My sister told me to read Divergent is a good series, so I'm probably going to pick up the first book and see where it takes me.

I've never read them, I see this is perhaps an opportunity for someone to convince me that I've made a very foolish mistake and that it's time that I went right ahead and started to read them, I just usually don't read fiction books, I haven't actually read Harry Potter either (okay those things are seriously long) but I've managed to read The Lord of The Rings (infinitely better than Harry Potter sorry).

Battle Royale is better.

I have heard from many people the book is better!!!
