(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I am going to busy with work the next few days so I thought I would post this a little early. Anyways on the 15th of January 2009 I registered on this great site. Like many members before and after me I joined due to Travis' (Outsiders) youtube channel eXoOutsider. When I first joined I didn't post very often. One of the first things I did was buy premium to support the site. When donating Travis had just switched paypal accounts. Due to this I donated to the old paypal. After a few days of not getting premium I looked into the payment. I saw a phone number on the account so I say I decided why not try and call it. It ended up being Travis' personal cellphone. After talking for a little while he was able to refund me the money from the old paypal so I could pay to the new paypal. When I started getting active I stuck to two sections Auctions and vBookie. At the time vBookie was my favorite section on the site we had a very active sports community including members like AgentJon, LongJohnSilver, Sub Zero and many more. After getting to know the people in the sports sections of the site I moved on to PS3 hacks. When the 3.41 jailbreak came out I jailbroke my PS3 right away. I still have the app on my TI-84 calculator to jailbreak your ps3. Anyways that is when GodlyMods V1 was release for PS3. I installed in and quickly updated to show off to my friends that I could do all these crazy hacks on Modern Warfare 2. Once GodlyMods became obsolete I went back to regular vbookie section. Until the summer of 2012 Travis offered me the position of vBookie moderator. I was went crazy I was finally going to be able to give back to the great community of friends that I had made over the years. July 24 2012 I was official promoted to vBookie. I remember staying up all night making sure to open and close the 15 daily MLB games. It got to almost be too much trust me sports are fun but posting events all day everyday when only 5 people are betting becomes a bit of a pain in the ass. On September 9th 2012 I stepped down from my position as vBookie moderator. I became very inactive after this just coming on to say hello to a few good friends. Still betting in vBookie throughout this time. After NFL season was in full swing I was really missing the vBookie scene so I made the decision to come back to the team. On November 11th 2012 I got a text from ClutchLikeMelo telling me that I was back on the team. From that point forward I posted all the NFL games from that point forward. Then Travis along with other admins thought it was the best for the site to take down vBookie. At the time there was a lot of resistance against the idea but it did seem like it was time for it to go. After all the vBookie staff was demoted a select few were promoted to sectional mods. On February 2nd 2013 I was promoted to sectional moderator. It was then my job to moderate the Call Of Duty Sections of the site. A month into being a sectional moderator I was promoted to a full moderator on March 16 2013. I then got my shout box powers. As many of you know I was a little quick on the ban hamma at first but it takes a little getting used to at first :p. After my second stent on staff I retired on July 27th 2013. After that I became pretty inactive and that leads us up to today. I still come on every once and while to see if any good friends from back in the day are in the shout box.

Hey Kev, thanks for adding me to your list. Truly means a lot coming from you. I loved working with you when we had vBookie, and it was the only reason why I joined, but to this day I can not leave because I have grown to like the members of this community. Congratulations, on 5 years of being a NextGenUpdate member.

You are a good friend in the community, and I hope all is going well for you.

Your friend, MLB.

In Flames Much?
It's pretty crazy to think that, you have been here 5 years. Almost at 4 years in 8 months time here, which is also pretty crazy given why I joined here.
On top of that everybody has their own story to tell and little details. This site started out as a pet project turned into something else. Without users like yourself keeping around that would not be possible.
Not going to lie some of you guys have touched my heart, loved getting to know you guys and enjoyed every moment.
The ones I served with on staff been great fun guys, appreciate your effort and hard work.
Being a great member looking forward to you being around for a couple more years Smile

Much love
