Most high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 per cent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women.
to what extent do you agree?

i need to right at least 250 words

thanks in advance

Is your teacher some kind of feminist or something? I would say I do not agree at all. Your position should not be decided by sex. Your position in your job should be based off performance.

The following 3 users say thank you to kmanthecaveman for this useful post:

yes she is ,, i just wrote this eassy what do u think about it ?

The difference between man and women is a major issue in there society. besides that, its unknown if this certain job in a company gonna be taken by male or female.Even though, It is common acknowledged that most CEO of companies are sole men. Therefore some people suggest that companies should ensure a certain proportion of high level positions to women.I would say I do not agree at all. Your position should not be decided by sex. Your position in your job should be based off performance.

Firstly, i think the companies has the right to choose who they want for their job wether is a male or female in order to get success in their business.the good aim of employers is profit. As a result, for selecting positions employers require to have the special skills such as managing and communicating skills. the person who have this special skills should be taken without thinking wether its a male or female.

Although, in some countries such as the middle east some jobs are taken by wether the person is male or female because some jobs like girls saloons requires women to do the job if there were men working in girls saloon it could lead into religious problems. same as man saloon’s .

in conclusion, although the inequality between men and women has reduced, it still is a social issue worth to concern. Personally, in my opinion the positions should be decided by the person skills not by sex.

Personally, I think that it doesn't matter whether woman should get a high position in a company or not, they have to personally work hard in order to achieve that level. It's not sexism where women don't get the best spots, it's the fact that they won't get easy stuff in life. We are all the same, we have the same knowledge in our head. It's how we use it and how much work put into it. Jobs shouldn't be forced to hire a women if they have clearly no knowledge about what to do. It's the easiest way a company could just lose money and shut down.

What you wrote above needs a lot of refinement, and personally I also disagree with the statement. People shouldn't get a free ticket into a good position simply because of their gender. (That for one would not be equality anyway that would be bending over backwards to help women rather than helping them through their own merit to get into a position like that) The people in those positions work hard to get there and it would be disrespectful to the to hand out 50% of those positions to women just because their women. In many countries around the world there are women in positions of power such as Prime Ministers and CEO's for instance, Marissa Mayer who has been President and CEO of Yahoo! since July 2012 and before this she was a long-time executive and key spokesperson for Google. There's are women out there in these positions but not as many. Maybe women simply just don't aspire to do that kind of work or perhaps, women just aren't as good as men in those kind of jobs.

Firstly, I think the companies have the right to choose who they want for their job whether it is a male or a female in order to get employees. The objective of employers is basically gaining profit. As a result, for selecting positions, employers require to have the special skills such as managing and communicating skills. The person who consists of these special skills should be taken without judgement of the gender.

However, in some countries located in the middle east, people are employed based off their sex because some jobs like women saloons require women to do the job. If there were men working in a women's saloon, it could develop into religious problems. Same goes to men's saloons.

In conclusion, although the inequality between men and women has reduced, it still is a social issue worth to concern. Personally, in my opinion, the positions should be decided by the person skills but not by their sex.

Fixed up grammar mistakes and added in some words there to make it sound more smooth. I'm assuming you are going to send in the assignment via Internet? If not, then I just wasted about 20 minutes of my life.

OT: You're on the same track as me. I believe that gender should not play a role in being employed. It should be based specifically on your experience, knowledge, and capability. Unless of course the job requires a lot of feminine activities that would not be moral for a male to do (such as a women's saloon as you mentioned).

Never start the conclusion with, "In conclusion" it's redundant.

Disagree. People should have to earn the job and only the most qualified people should have the job. If there happens to be no qualified woman, so be it.
