Normally I would say PlayStation 4 for gaming, value etc...
In these type of situation conduct an educated guess on what console will suit you and
your needs more as a gamer.
Or go with PC gaming but that can be very pricey down the road hope it all works out

I would personally say PS4 but it isnt unusual for people to follow their previous enjoyable experience, so speaking if you really enjoyed playing 360 you may tend to lean on Xbox One, or if you liked playing PS3 more than Xbox you would rather have a PS4. I have both a 360 and PS3, I use my PS3 more cause i find it to have a better community then on Xbox although the futures from 360 I miss out on.

But seriously, which of the consoles that you have do you like better? If you prefer your Xbox, you'd probably be better off getting the Xbox One. If you prefer your PS3, go for the PS4. Hardware-wise, the ps4 has a slight advantage. It mostly comes down to personal preference.
