(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello all,

You should all know by now, that there was news of a recent Malaysian Flight (370) disappearing out of the blue and losing every possible communication factor. The plane has yet not been found, this is obviously a huge tragedy and I hope everyone finds a safe place on that Flight. My question(s) to you all is, what do you think really went down? Where do you think the Airplane could have gone? Do you guys think this is a "cover up" of some sort? Do you think it even crashed, as new found evidence seems to be suggesting? Let everyone know your thoughts below. Keep in mind, new details on this are being found almost everyday, so think about the new factors that come into play as well. Personally, I think it was probably pilot error, or the instruments on board the plane were malfunctioning and they went off course.

P.S. - You can say whatever you thought happened. Not just limited to what I asked :p. No flaming will be tolerated, let's be respectful to those on this plane, as well as each others opinions.

But now something very interesting, a popular Japanese messenger (much like WhatsApp) has reported several missing peoples phones show them as online (so the phones are/were 100% on).

As someone mentioned this same incident happened before with Air France, and the plane was found 1 year later at the bottom of the ocean.

My personal opinion. Inside job. Why?

The Black Box inside the plane is built to withstand explosions, even if the plane was to explode the black box would still operate, I have a feeling it was an inside job and they somehow knew how to discount any signals being sent out from the plane. This is all speculation and I'm sure as time goes on more info will give us a better idea.

The black box doesn't broadcast information, it's just an in-flight data recording system to log information about controls, senors, and conversation in the cockpit. The only thing that broadcast any signal are the transponders, mainly for air traffic control and radar purposes. Even then they can be shut off, albeit an 'unidentified' aircraft pops up on radar which raises immediate suspicion. Usually the aircraft is asked to identify themselves, if there is no response they'll scramble some jets as a show of force. So it's likely that there could have been possible military involvement, but no one knows.

I personally think it was the govt who took it. I'm one of those guys who doesn't believe what the govt says. I don't think a huge plane can just disappear out of the blue. They are hiding something, idk what, maybe trying to start a war within countries, but that's just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure something suspicious is going on, the people who check on on bet didn't board, phone showing as online on whats app (credit to DesperateAngel for that). I honestly think this was done on purpose and was not merely and accident.

The whole idea of an airplane disappearing completely is crazy. I don't know what to think of it. Maybe Pewp is right and it is turning into a real life version of the TV show Lost. Gasp

I work on airplane engines lol this is my field. But thank you for the story Happy

And just like other aircraft crashes, they never find them until years later. And seeing how they haven't found any debris of the aircraft the chances that it didn't crash into the ocean seem high, therefore the black box doesn't broadcast any information. You're a grease monkey, who works on aircraft engines, I suppose you know a ton about avionics right?

There are two black boxes now a days, though I don't know if the 370 has all the mod cons, the second recorder is ejected from the rear of the plane at the moment of an accident. Also the black box is water tight so it still would send a signal out and if it is in the ocean I'm sure sonar would pick it up easily.

They are designed to emit an underwater locator beacon for up to 30 days and can operate immersed to a depth of up to 6,000 meters (20,000 ft)

That is absolutely insane. I don't understand how it just disappeared if the black boxes can emit a signal from that deep underwater. There has to be some crazy stuff going on here. I watched this documentary on the Bermuda Triangle, something similar happened. It was very interesting.
