(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As most of you may already know that on the 17th of March it is St. Patrick's Day. As per usual I see people on the internet (Mostly Americans, no offence) call it "St.Patty's Day". It is not called that it is known as "Paddy's Day" which in fact is short for Patrick.

I just wanted to clear this up before it is already spread through the forums Winky Winky

I learned from my teacher that back then, there were irish slaves that were called Paddy. There isn't any real meaning of it but it's racist to call a Irish a paddy. It's like calling someone a negroe but there isn't any meaning on it but just another word for blacks but it is racist.
