(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I got Optus Cable and is said to be at 25mbp/s download and 1.5mbp/s upload (i think) and on the computer during a skype call it drops out and on the gaming console it lags terribly is this Optus' way of trolling or does it require settings to change on the router. Router model is Netgear WNR2200.

If you're using G grade wifi that may be the issue or too many clients using one line.
Does it happen during certain times of the day only?

Just randomly every 20 or so minutes i get big lag spikes. On games on my ps3 console and mobile it lags too. there are about 3 people including me on the same wifi.

So for like example on CoD Black Ops II i always die when running around a corner i die straight away, on the killcam he say me comeing around the corner 2-3 seconds earlier so i have no chance of winning that gun fight.
