Damn if you guys got bookmarks in folders, SHIT. Y'all must have tons...

You can count your bookmarks like this in chrome:
1. open bookmark manager (Alt+F, B, B)
2. organize > export bookmarks to HTML file
3. open the HTML file it created
4. view source (Ctrl+U)
5. search (Ctrl+F) for "<T><A HREF", there will be 1 for every bookmark
