Error… Cat invasion!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So if you have Verizon and love to download torrents from torrent sites please be aware that Verizon is playing cop by emailing you at first warning that piracy has been commited and what movie, program etc. was pirated! The worst part is that in the email Verizon states it would do two of the following if this does not cease:
:badass:

  • Slow down internet speeds on purpose!
  • Contact the F.B.I if problems still occur more than 2 times after this email is sent!

This is just insane, the only real reason in my mind is that Verizon just does not like us getting free movie releases, they would rather us spend $5-10 on a 48 hr rental in their VOD section.Kidding me

So do all ISP's do this now, I ask because I used to have Comcast/Xfinity and they did not give a shit, anyone else come across this dilemma?

Just keep doing it and ignore the E-mails, it's just scare tactics.

Unless you're downloading CP, or Top-Secret shit from Silk Road, I doubt you'll be getting a visit from them. If you still get emails though, and want that to stop, I suggest you invest in a seedbox for your torrents.

ISPs have been doing this for some time to protect the business of old media. Rather sad how the law is behind the tech and so are these companies.

My ISP has sent me emails before. Before I got a VPN I used a free program called Peerblock and it seemed to help (Don't know if it will be beneficial to you) Here is the link:
You must login or register to view this content.
also there are plenty of cheap unlogged VPNs out there. I pay 2$ a month for mine.

I've never got a complaint from ISP and heck I will go on illegal sites, download torrents and stuff and no complaints to me at all. I passed Comcast's 250GB bandwidth limit and still didn't got a complain. I guess you should switch from Verizon haha or use a VPN

US ISPs are the worse just happy UK ones offer a better deal.
I do have a movie deal with my own ISP thinking of getting rid and moving to netflix or another service.
