(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone, I'm going to UK (Edinburgh ) this summer 26/6 but first I'm going to step in london for couple of days then in 29/6 I'm heading to Edinburgh, and I'm wondering how to travel from London to Edinburgh by a train because I have never travelled by a train before and shall I book earlier ? Or it won't be necessary? I appreciate ur help.
Thx in advance.

Virgin Railways are your best bet if you aren't going to fly. It not that expensive and you wont need to book in advance.

In Flames Much?
Unsure what's going to be cheaper a plane or by train.
I think a plane is going to be cheaper but you need to wait against a train which is pretty much get on. As for bag limits on trains, none but for busy routes it can be a pain moving all your bags.

Train from London to Edinburgh is gonna be loooooooong. 5hrs probably? And its always cheaper the further ahead you book it, you will also be able to reserve a seat if you book it in advance otherwise you risk having to stand, at least until you get outside London.

A flight will be about 90mins but probably more expensive. Depends how valuable your time is.
