(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone, I'm going to UK (Edinburgh ) this summer 26/6 but first I'm going to step in london for couple of days then in 29/6 I'm heading to Edinburgh, and I'm wondering how to travel from London to Edinburgh by a train because I have never travelled by a train before and shall I book earlier ? Or it won't be necessary? I appreciate ur help.
Thx in advance.

Fly it takes one hour, much better than sitting on a train for four & a half hours, cheaper too.

Bookmark the above website and use it the day you plan to travel to Edinburgh, I've travelled all across England via train. All you do is put in the name of the station you start and and the one you want to get too, you can choose to go via specific stations too. Once you've done that it gives you all the stations you will be going through, the time of the trains you will be catching and everything else you could possibly want. I would probably not pay in advance though, yes it is cheaper, but if you miss that advanced booking you will have to buy another ticket, it has to be used at a very specific time and place which just adds unnecessary stress if it's your first time in the UK.

Also you can get a fight from London city airport witch is good as its in central London & you get a great view of the city when you take off.

Prices are a bit higher though.

I would recommend booking a few days in advance if you want to travel by train, as you do have to reserve a seat
