(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ebola has had quite a nasty outbreak in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. With efforts to control the outbreak failing as the Ebola can spread quickly. So why the fuss?
Ebola is a rather deadly thing even on a small scale when you start to get to epidemic levels....
Current death rate can be up to 90%,with 728 already dead.

Spread through contact with bodily fluids of infected patients, bush meat or surfaces, Ebola has no known cure or vaccine, longer you wait more likely death.
Also has a rapid, constant mutation and adaptation changing very quickly.
Biggest problem is Ebola appears to be malaria at first, can take 21 days for the host to notice.
With health care in these nations being poor along with a deep mistrust Ebola is hard to counter.

Virus can be contained the methods are rather basic but hard to apply in this part of the world.

I see where the CDC (US) issued it's highest alert due to Ebola now being in the US. The last time Level 1 alerts were issued in the US was during Hurricane Katrina, and the H1N1 Flu outbreak.

Scary scary shit. I don't understand why they were brought to the US, now, imagine that, people in the US are being infected. US now has 7 cases of Ebola.

Easier for us to respond to an outbreak if we have one or two people with it. Tests are likely to be done on these people finding out as much as possible. Sounds crazy but it has a degree of logic behind it.

Hopefully it stays away from other countries and we don't have like a mass outbreak of it
