TURN DOWN FOR WHAT
Well i can get 250 for my cfw like 130 from christmas :c or more and like 100 from PC that would make a 480+
idk what should i get tho.
Better PC, or Alienware Alpha
PS4?

Throwing in a disk? Yea that's not really true anymore. Most games that are worth a damn require an install. At that point there's zero difference.
The reason I own consoles is mainly because that's what I grew up on. However I don't play them because my pc plays pretty much all the ones I own and the 2 it doesn't I don't even play anyways.

With game companies reusing the same engine over and over again for years. If you were able to play it last year, chances are you'll be playing it just fine through the new iteration.

I never said it was a bad thing, but when you try to prove something is better when it actually isn't, is a bad thing. I'm not going to compare PC's and consoles and create some bullshit analogy, but what I'll say is the following. I love consoles for what they are, but a console would neither perform better than a pc nor will it be more "convenient". And in reference to your later post. No, a 500$ Pc would not have only a slight margin between it and a console. A 500$ budget pc would still have the "control and power" of a pc, whether 500$ or 1500$.
Calling me an elitist or a "master race egotist" is rather uncalled for, and it doesn't describe the situation is, which is that I believe pc's are "better", which they admittedly are. The thread is informing OP, and that is about providing actual facts about PCs and consoles, not stating which one you prefer for "convenience". You even mentioned that consoles are out-dated so I have no idea what you're on about :C. You can love consoles as I do, but it doesn't change fact.
