For whom don't know what this is? off the top off my head it is when the Pope (or leader of The Catholic Church) permanentely OR temporarely(sp) ban a certain person from the church (they have to be a member of the church to be excommunicated). I learned that once excommunicated i any other member of the church are aloud to kill you with NO consequences(sp).They will also be forgiven by the church for doing so.
What's more this law is STILL in place TODAY! :mad:

Well, who cares if they are excommunicate nowadays? Back then, they burn you at the stake for being "witches" and "demons" remember? So, either find a new religion, or just go with being Atheist.
