Exactly how I feel!! I gave AW a try and wishing I would enjoy it but it got boring to me , Exo suit was interesting at first but ehh.. I'm really hoping the next cod kinda goes back in time & I think we could all take a break from the futuristic games. Mix it up a bit

Exactly! Black ops 1 zombies were great! BO2 was good but couldn't top BO1 & Have you seen the recent leaks about WAW 2 ? Hope its true

Call of duty have one last chance advanced warfare is bad but thing would get a lot better with black ops 3

My personal opinion on the call of duty franchise would be broken down into several part, too long to go into the greater detail but yeah.

Weapons
They are gradually being tweaked to the amount where they don't feel like how they were intended to be. take mw2's AA-12 for example, i know they lowered the firerate and power because it would be too "overpowered" but why reduce the range lower than the rest of the shotguns, as far as i remember that wasnt the best shotgun on the game. overall they mess with the assets too much that it frustrates you.

Health regen system
same old system is used in each game, i mean if you can regen your health automatically in real life i think our deathcount would be lower than what it already is. once again, i know it was used for a valid reason but why not increase the amount of waiting time before fully healed or even have some sort of interaction.

Graphics
When each company says that their graphics will be a lot better you find out its not much different, or in some cases even worse. texture filtering was the only thing i noticed in the more recent game.

Lazy scripting
They simply cannot create most scripts in a recent title, how many times have you gone into their source files and found "mp_rust" or some content from previous titles? advanced warfare was one of them. It doesn't take a brain to rename jump_height to something like jump_height_jump in the exe.

Mapping has become less creative
a lot of maps have been "recycled" and re-designed as you may have noticed, but only a few developers have mentioned that "its a remake of cliffside" or so on.

Map packs
As production and publishing rates increase every year we see our variety map/content packs increasing by its value, remember when they use to cost as low as £7-8?

Engine
When they say its completed new its not, false information i guess. I bet even the radiant tools are exactly the same as the black ops tool.

I could go on but I choose not to waste a night :p

overall summary
Personally, i think they need to bring a change but also maintain that 'cod-feeling' it once had, it died after mw2 and a lot of the focuses on futuristic stories and such became too overused in the franchise. I would love to see a WW1 or 2 story to return, or even push away from the both and enter something completely new. Originality is what makes a game company stay alive, and also selling overpriced/overused content that drags your attention to the game even after wishing every year for something new

All Cods are made to be an experience when to play. I say the next COD Would be intense as technology is becoming more sufficient in this lifetime. But my true opinion of a real Army game... Is of course Battlefield ... as realistic as it gets

I like your signature LOL, and yeah a COD Medieval would be so cool ... Unlike Advance Warfare it is to much ... So Superflous (To much not needed) They made that game were you jetpack all the time which is so annoying but other than that it is a very good game
