Marijuana should be removed from the criminal justice system and regulated in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco. There are five jurisdictions in the Unites State that have rejected the failed prohibition of marijuana and changed their laws to legalize small amount of marijuana: Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. Four states will license and regulate production and sale of marijuana. Marijuana legalization won on the ballot in Colorado and Washington in the 2012 election, and in Alaska, Oregon and Washington, D.C., in the 2014 election.

Marijuana product testing is becoming a standard requirement for legalized marijuana markets. This allows consumers to become better informed about the cannabinoid profile and potency of marijuana they consume. While universally accepted standards have not been established for testing, consumers should consider requesting information on any pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers, or any other residual solvents that could remain on flowers after the cultivation process.

In all other reasons marijuana can help people and medical patients who need it. There is no reason to just smoke it for no reason , there would have to be a cause.

We have more people dying from CIGERATES then we do on herion and crack. Yet Cigs are legal, because the Government can make money and more profit off of cigs.

If government were smart, they'd use it to make more money, you've got teenagers smoking weed, making it through fine. The only downside to weed, is that you could become Chief Keef...

I, for one, smoke weed. Not going to say how much, and my schedule but yes; I do smoke. It has no effect on your educational purposes and for those inbred who say it makes you dumb, no.. just no. If anything drugs make you smarter, Common Sense wise that it. Maybe not books smarts. Bottom line, weed doesn't hurt people, it helps. HUGE stress reliever and I wouldn't want to give children the wrong message but i'd let my kid smoke weed without a second thought. I did it when I was a kid, still do it now; i'm fine. Although I can't get many smoke sessions going on due to the Army...

Ive never agreed with you anymore in my whole life up until this point, beautiful reply.

I don't know if they should legalize weed. I'm worried that the big greedy corporations will take it and stuff it full of chemicals like in cigarettes and make it addictive. Plus everyone knows the big corporations own the government and would have them create a law that would give these corporations total control over growing and selling weed.:salll:

One of the only reasons it is still frowned upon is because it is illegal, and it's only illegal because it can't be taxed. It grows wild in some lands, and because of this they cannot tax someone for going out and picking a plant. They know this, and that's why decriminalization is being discussed more realistically than becoming legal. But, decriminalized is still a lot better than the harsh laws that accompany weed in some states today.

I toke frequently and see no harm in it. Makes my job better, makes my food taste better, makes everything more enjoyable. A ton of people come up with outdated reasons as to why weed is bad, but more and more people are starting to realize this as time goes on.

I see it being completely decriminalized in the US within the next 6-7 years.

Dispensaries aren't doing that now, and I don't see too many people falling for it if it ever gets to be like that.

Off topic tangent here, but tell me exactly how corporations own/run the government. Wouldn't one think it asinine that any big corporation would have supported Obamacare or the stone walling of the Keystone pipeline? On the contrary corporations rather make a profit than lose a profit.

I believe the first step is that we need to make it medically legal. No doubt. So many benefits especially when using it under care of a doctor.

As for recreational use, it should be like alcohol. Anyone 21 and over should have the choice.
