Marijuana should be removed from the criminal justice system and regulated in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco. There are five jurisdictions in the Unites State that have rejected the failed prohibition of marijuana and changed their laws to legalize small amount of marijuana: Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. Four states will license and regulate production and sale of marijuana. Marijuana legalization won on the ballot in Colorado and Washington in the 2012 election, and in Alaska, Oregon and Washington, D.C., in the 2014 election.

Marijuana product testing is becoming a standard requirement for legalized marijuana markets. This allows consumers to become better informed about the cannabinoid profile and potency of marijuana they consume. While universally accepted standards have not been established for testing, consumers should consider requesting information on any pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers, or any other residual solvents that could remain on flowers after the cultivation process.

In all other reasons marijuana can help people and medical patients who need it. There is no reason to just smoke it for no reason , there would have to be a cause.

We have more people dying from CIGERATES then we do on herion and crack. Yet Cigs are legal, because the Government can make money and more profit off of cigs.

At least I can fight
Theres a debate sub section btw :p

And if weed becomes legal it will get taxed just like tobacco and cost a shit load. ( It's $18 for a pack of 20s here ) I think it just needs to be decriminalized.

I think it should be legalized because it's safer and healthier than tobacco, alcohol, crack etc. It calms you down and help lot's of people do more things. Not one death of weed has been found and death of other drugs happen every day. If Wiz Khalifa or Snoop Dogg aren't dead from it, we are safe :P

The fact you said "safer" does not make it safe.. Getting hit by a car is safer than being hit by a train but either way you can die. I don't agree with drugs, including alcohol. And I also don't agree with cigarettes. These items change peoples social acts and feelings, it may be good for them but what about the friends and family around them who don't use these. I hate being around my family when they are drunk, any friends who smoke I don't wanna know anymore, and weed can have side affects which destroy peoples life. Yes it probably won't happen to you as it doesn't happen to most people but what if? It could

No I don't want it legalised for recreational use but for medical that's fine. If it is legalised recreationally I won't be using it so it dosent really affect me.

that was a terrible analogy, being in a car accident is completely different than smoking weed in your room mf. The only negative about smoking weed is getting caught :fa:

You should be able to smoke weed as long as you're in your own environment. Sitting in your house and rollin' a quick joint shouldn't be illegal. As Ace stated, more people are dying from cigs which damn surely doesn't surprise me. If government were smart, they'd use it to make more money, you've got teenagers smoking weed, making it through fine. The only downside to weed, is that you could become Chief Keef...
tears

I, for one, smoke weed. Not going to say how much, and my schedule but yes; I do smoke. It has no effect on your educational purposes and for those inbred who say it makes you dumb, no.. just no. If anything drugs make you smarter, Common Sense wise that it. Maybe not books smarts. Bottom line, weed doesn't hurt people, it helps. HUGE stress reliever and I wouldn't want to give children the wrong message but i'd let my kid smoke weed without a second thought. I did it when I was a kid, still do it now; i'm fine. Although I can't get many smoke sessions going on due to the Army...
