One is if it is playfully, like punching them in the arm of something like that.

Another is in self-defense. I've only ever had to do this once, but I pissed off some girl in my neighborhood when I was about 15 and she wanted to fight. I told her that I wasn't going to fight a girl, and she sucker punched me. Told me these exact words "You see how hard I hit. Don't be sexist. I'm not a woman, I'm the bitch that just fucking punched you!" So I took that to heart and hit her back, same sucker punch she gave me. She fell down and called it off. Today she is actually my best friend and I love her like family.

Nah I don't think it's ever okay. As men we're stronger and bigger than women and should be the protectors of women, not the aggressors. It doesn't matter if she hits your first or if she's making you angry, because it's not going to be a fair fight. You got to control your emotions and use your physical ability to dodge her hits and your words to calm her down.

Obviously there's extreme cases where she could have a weapon and your life and well-being could be in danger, then you can defend yourself. But if it's just hands on hands, that doesn't give you cause to fight her fairly, because it wouldn't be a fair fight.

It is, but the way I was raised makes it almost impossible for me to do. I'm sure if there was a gun in someones face or something I wouldn't hesitate, but even if they try to hit or punch me I just can't.
