I suppose I can opine on various things, personally I don't care for this current administration, nor did I care for the last either. I equally dislike Obamacare and The Patriot Act. So far this year I have been both equally screwed by legislation from the previous administration and legislation from the current.

However, this debate is more along the lines of the Obama administration so I'll try and keep my grievances to that. As we all know, Obamacare was not intended to be a tax, as Obama said many times when campaigning to get his bill signed into law. Ultimately, the bill was only legal if it was a tax. So there's a new tax, and a bonus penalty if you don't sign up for government subsidized healthcare. I'm sure if you wanted to get ambiguous, you could say that Obamacare puts you into "double jeopardy." Or a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. You register for Obamacare, your doctor selection gets narrowed and quality of treatment goes out the window, and if you don't you get fined for it. Either way you're equally fucked.

Then his whole agenda on dividing the country. You'd be a fool to not see this, he's been doing it since day one and Al Sharpton is his right hand man along with Eric Holder. I don't think I need to touch base on his foreign policy, as that too is a given. I reckon I can talk about his stance on gun control, which is completely arbitrary at best. It's apparent that he failed when he blatantly went after the most popular sporting rifle in the country, so to compensate for his failures his lovely cabinet and their bureaucracies – mainly the ATF – decide to go after the caliber of that the AR-15 uses, more specifically the M855 round which is military surplus. Granted the ATF decided not to move forward with the ban. He tried nonetheless.

The thesis in which they wanted to ban M855 under was the fact that cops were in danger and were being killed by this particular round. Which turned out to be false. Oddly enough though, two cops in Ferguson were shot. Speculation is saying that the officers were shot from a range of 150 to 250 yards. If I recall correctly one of the officers still had a round lodged in his skull, I'm curious if they're going to analyze it and discover what caliber it is, and if there is a steel perpetrator in it. Now I would find it particularly odd if these officers were shot with that specific round. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but there would definitely be some tomfoolery going on, and you'd have to ask yourself is it coincidence or not. Okay, enough with the conspiracy nonsense. I'll just leave it at this, I'm a gun owner, I enjoy going to the range and plinking. I've been around firearms my entire life and have been taught firearm safety for as long as I can remember. I personally believe you should be able to purchase whatever firearm you want, I'd even go as far as nullifying the Nation Firearms Act to these ends.
