Post: Where would Cod be if MW2 was not created?...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So with all the ideas infinity ward implemented in to MW2 it made me wonder. Where would cod be today if Mw2 was not made?

Because with all the customization and selection of kill streaks and fluency over all, it became an anchor point for Treyarch and other cod developers everything was gravitated round that idea.

So what do you guys think?

I fucking hate Madden.

COD ruined battlefield. Well more or less EA ruined it but Call of Duty didn't help. They have to pander to the lowest common denominator now.

BC2 was pretty bad and it only got worse after that.

As for the main topic, if there weren't an MW2, there just wouldn't be an MW3 lol
So, there probably would've been more Treyarc games

Nah, I disagree, I thoroughly enjoyed BFH, although I did like any of the Battlefield games.

true but the rest were "tolerable". I just think hardline is the worst (so far). There's so many things they screwed up in the game

Aside from some of the issues it had, I still found it more enjoyable compared to a lot of the crap DICE has produced since. A lot of the issues in BC2 still exist to this day, but are exacerbated by Frostbite.

I haven't played it but I am going to go with having to shoot shadows in order to kill anyone not that tolerable.

I firmly believe that Call of Duty would be where it is today regardless of MW2's creation. Personally, I don't care with all the customization seen in the newer CoDs. Just from watching videos and seeing snapshots I cringe.

i agree 100%

Great response.
I remember playing Call of Duty 2 with my Dad, and to zoom in, it pulls up binoculars or some shit like that...

After playing CoD4 and WAW, I don't think I can ever play any of the "original trio".
