Post: Where would Cod be if MW2 was not created?...

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So with all the ideas infinity ward implemented in to MW2 it made me wonder. Where would cod be today if Mw2 was not made?

Because with all the customization and selection of kill streaks and fluency over all, it became an anchor point for Treyarch and other cod developers everything was gravitated round that idea.

So what do you guys think?

I firmly believe that Call of Duty would be where it is today regardless of MW2's creation. Personally, I don't care with all the customization seen in the newer CoDs. Just from watching videos and seeing snapshots I cringe.

I think Call Of duty would still be popular now no doubt but Alot of "Gaming" youtubers started on mw2 it either being mlg quickscopes or competitive.

cod4 opened the world to a good/ fluent running online game. Story Mode you felt apart of.

even cod5 was a history lesson Winky Winky Nazi zombies had a storyline that was good and gripping, listening to the radios e=finding easter eggs for Samantha.

im not a fan of robots/exo suits etc todays world hasnt reached that far... i think the game should tone itself down and look at wars in the past and present and add their spin to it

I completely agree with the latter, well, everything to be honest. I always felt Black Ops 2 was dumb, yeah you could argue in continued the story of Black Ops. But outside of that I knew that Call of Duty was going to get really stupid, sure enough it did. I much rather see a World at War II than another futuristic pile of shit.
