Has anyone travelled to the United States with their Jailbroken PS3?

Has anyone travelled to the United States wit their hardrive that contains illegally downloaded movies?

What were your experiences?
Was it allowed?
Was it tolerated?
Was it confiscated?
Were you charged a fine?

I'm asking this because I'm planning to migrate to Chicago. And I'm hesitant to bring my hard drive and my jailbroken console as it maybe confiscated.

Thank you guys!

I honestly hope this thread is a joke.... If you seriously think that the TSA is going to take your hard drive, hold up the line, and check to see what you have on it, then you are the most paranoid person I have ever seen in my entire life.

Okay the answer to your question is well, no. Jailbreaking itself in no way is meant to allow people to use pirated games and other software on the system. In fact one of the first jailbreaks that was around when 3.55 came around was Gehot, and he was completely against piracy. His firmware didn't even allow you to do so. But if you are caught with any pirated software yes you will get in very big trouble lots of fines and maybe even jail time. But a lot of us are still sneaky pirates regardless Winky Winky.

Hey thanks for answering Luke, but when we were oriented about this stuff. They said that we were not allowed to bring things that involves piracy. That's why I'm asking here if any people had experiences before which CUSTOMS confiscated their drives.

particularly not to bring on a plane. But to bring in the USA

None of this is piracy, it only becomes piracy when you sell copyright material. i suggest you all read up on the law yourself and dont rely on the industry itself telling you what the laws are, they have a bit of a bias.
