Has anyone travelled to the United States with their Jailbroken PS3?

Has anyone travelled to the United States wit their hardrive that contains illegally downloaded movies?

What were your experiences?
Was it allowed?
Was it tolerated?
Was it confiscated?
Were you charged a fine?

I'm asking this because I'm planning to migrate to Chicago. And I'm hesitant to bring my hard drive and my jailbroken console as it maybe confiscated.

Thank you guys!

particularly not to bring on a plane. But to bring in the USA

It's a little hard for someone to disprove that a piece of software or a movie is legally yours to begin with unless you are out there saying I pirated this. Don't worry about it.

Welcome to the TSA.

If this is really a huge concern for you then I would suggest encrypting your hard drive.

You'd think that the customs security check have time to turn on your laptop, tv, consoles in the airport to check for that, while a man with a gun or cocaine hidden in their body or suitcases walk past freely.

But to answer your questions, yes you are white.

Be happy that you are moving to chicago... good luck...

I believe Jailbreaking isn't Piracy, but downloading Torrent Games/DVD's Etc, would count as Piracy and could end up with Paying a Small-Large fine or Maybe even time in prison. So i wouldn't worry about paying a fine or whatever. with a jailbroken ps3 :p
