(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, I know that most of us are still pretty young, but for those of you that are, do you think your gaming habits will change when you get older?

First off, I'm 22, and when I was a teen, I mainly played the PS2. I played Spyro, Driver 2, GTA, etc. didn't really play CoD much, but I know I played the hell out of the PS2 until it crashed. Before I had the PS2, I played Nintendo 64. Mario, and 007 Golden eye when I was like 8 or so.

I eventually got an Xbox 360 when I was 14 or so. I know the 360 had been out for a while and that and the PS3 was still the number one thing. That's when I really got into COD. I think black ops II was out. I played the shit out of it, GTA 4, WAW, and mw2.

I really use to be into games but not so much anymore. They just bore me now, but when I was a teen, I told myself games would never bore me. If a game really didn't grab me and hook me, I would keep playing it for a while to see if it got better. Now, I just stop playing it.

Like I purchased far cry 4 because I absolutely loved 3, and i played it for a little bit, and might have done 5 missions on it. Probably 3 hours of play time, and I haven't touched it sense.

I bought a PS3 during Christmas and about 2 months ago I bought an Xbox one. I've played the PS3 maybe for 5 hours and it is literally just collections dust and its brand new. I get on the Xbox one to only watch movies and tv on Hulu, netflix, and Xbox video. Don't really talk to my friends anymore on Xbox. A lot of them have removed me because we just stopped talking. I currently still have all those consoles. (360, PS3, one, and I even still have my 64 and it still works)

In conclusion, it kinda makes me sad that I don't play games hardly at all anymore. I guess I just grew out of them. Don't really know why either. I literally played games non stop. I was a nerd and was ALWAYS in my room. Lol :p

So what about you guys?

Just because you got bored of playing them, doesn't mean you cant get involved with video games in another way...

I know exactly what you mean... I'm 20 now and I still play everyday for at least 2 hours, but definitely not as much as I used to. I played the shit out of my ps2 and ps3. I'm talking 6+ hours a day. Although I stopped playing for about 2 years, I came back and here I am.

I'm getting a little bored of console's now, but for some reason my cfw ps3 still keeps me entertained somehow. I just can't get enough of GTA 5. I've never had a "Gaming PC" that would play most games on max, so I haven't really experienced gaming in that way. I do like to pc game, but nowadays it seems that the new games are too much for my PC to handle. Therefore, I plan on building a PC in a couple months that should last me awhile. So I wouldn't say I'm completely bored of gaming.

I did forget to mention that.

I just purchased a new laptop not long ago able to support some basic games. It's a toshiba. It runs really good and I love it :p. I have just been playing some sim city and farm simulator too. It's not the best laptop to run those games, but it runs them. I really do want to look into getting an actual gaming PC.

Same here, I'm wanting to get a gaming PC too and get that rollen. Don't get me wrong, I really do like my Xbox one and not all games bore me. Recently I've been playing some BH and having a great time. Sometimes I feel like I have flash backs and for about a week, I feel like I'm a teen again and I go on a non stop gaming streak every couple of months. Lol

Idk what your interests are - but think of all the things that go into making a successful game, surely something in that realm can pique your interest

Thing is, it's not the fact that I'm not interested in the games I play and I'm not saying that's what you said either. However, I bought battlefield hardline when it came out, played the hell out of it. Even played the beta like Hell too. Lol. I just don't know what it is. My older friends are still really into games.

When I was a kid, I played Gameboy Color/Gameboy (I've always wanted a Gameboy Advanced, but oh wells...), and my PSOne (Can't beat Spyro!) I had Dexter's Laboratory, the three Spyro games, the four Crash Bandicoot games (My friends and I would play CTR for hours!! Never played it? You missed out. Too bad "couch" co-op is basically dead, with the emergence of online co-op. I had Tomb Raider, but the wolves killed me, and I never really cared for her games till now :p I had Blato (Good game, tricky platforms), and GEX 3 (Sucks, but w/e)

When I was about 10, I got a PS2. All I remember playing is God of War and Prince of Persia, and my PS1 games. I guess this was my step-up to more mature titles. I just remember how much PS1 and PS2 would show up the error screen (no disc inserted or w/e) :/

2011, I got my PS3. It is currently my OFW. The first game I got for it would be Midnight Club: Los Angeles (sucks), God of War 3 (Wanted forever, main reason I got PS3), Black Ops 1, and Arkham Asylum (Fucking love the series). All I use the OFW for is playing pirated movies, or once in a blue moon, playing legit zombies to get my stats higher. This would be my step up to FPS (Black Ops 1 being my first CoD -- never heard of Call of Duty whilst on PS2, definitely heard of SOCOM and MAG), parkour (Tomb Raider -- love it!), emotional and intriguing storyline (The Last of Us), glitches (Black Ops Zombies), etc. With the PS1, I played for fun, and barely understood the games' storylines. With PS2, the "couch" co-op was fading away, bringing about solo gaming. PS3, I gained some love for glitches (literally, the first zombie game I played was "Five" with somebody doing the window glitch to get out of map) and modding. :/ I play more now than I ever did when I was younger. There's just a more expansive library of games to play (Portal 2, The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, Call of Duty, etc.)

As for PC, I would play those kiddie games from discs, long before Steam came about. Services like GameSpy. Or I'd just play online. I had the Lion King game for PC, among others. I heavily preferred online games, like Batman Beyond Evolution of Evil, etc. That being said, even if I wanted to play PC games, my laptop could only play games like Team Fortress 2. It's not worth the effort to raise thousands of dollars for PC games, just to have to keep upgrading. I've been with Sony since I was little, and I doubt I'll ever move to PC, unless somebody's going to buy me an Alienware computer. :p Unlike Toke, some of us aren't 'ballin' with money. I can't even afford a PS4, much less a decent gaming computer, xD.
